Colonial legacies of Museum collections
Dr Arjan Gosal is an ecosystem geographer based in Leeds with a focus on how humans interact with ecosystems under threat.

Prof. Anjali Goswami
Vertebrate Evolution and Development
Anjali's research career has covered a wide swath, with a particular interest in vertebrate evolution. This has taken her through many research areas, all over the world, and through the aeons.
Working from the embryo to the adult skeleton, Anjali has used many exciting modern methods like 3D scanning, kinematics, Finite Element Analysis and many more to reconstruct the real biological abilities of extinct species, and understand where derived traits come from in the tree of life. These insights can be extrapolated, inferring how animals must have interacted with their long-gone ecosystems, offering an incredible window into the past.
