Hannah's research looks at cognitive biases and storytelling in science communication. Her talk will provide tips for helping people with telling stories and framing their own research to make it more memorable. She will also explore some of the issues cognitive biases can cause in science communication.

Yas and Dina met online through their shared passion for communicating science on social media. Their workshop will explore how differnt online platforms can be useful tools to communicate science as well as share tips to get started online, including activities to get your creative juices flowing.

We will hear from key staff in the charity Elephants for Africa, who are committed to protecting the endangered African elephant through research and education. They conduct research to conserve the African elephant through understanding ecological and social dynamics.

This session will cover a range of subjects including the stigma associated with disability, workplace discrimination, the decision to disclose a disability, and access to workplace accommodations.
